EL PASO CONVENTION CENTER

El Paso Convention Center is conveniently located in the middle of downtown El Paso. The El Paso Convention & Performing Arts Center is one of the most universal facilities in the Southwest. It features over 200,000 sq. ft. of space, which includes 80,000 sq. ft. of columnless exhibit space; and the additional 2,500 seat Abraham Chavez Theatre.

The Abraham Chavez Theatre can be modified for concerts, opera, theatre and specific convention requirements. It carries a full-service theatrical stage system including 32 scenery lines, recording and playback capabilities, dressing room intercoms, full theatrical lighting and a hydraulic lift which can accommodate 40 musicians. Dressing room facilities include two chorus rooms and 10 individual dressing rooms with showers.

The audience area in the Abraham Chavez Theatre is columnless with over 975 accommodated in the Orchestra level, 1068 on the Grand Tier level and 395 in the third level, the Flying Balcony.

The El Paso Convention & Performing Arts Center has a 2 level underground parking garge/1,000 spacious parking spaces, 32 handicap parking space, 24 hour secured facility with a parking ceiling clearance of 6’.5”.
