Mural Historia de Nuevo Laredo (Mural depicting the history
of Nuevo Laredo)

Unveiled in 1957 and painted by Arturo Estrada, who was a disciple
of Frida Khalo’s. The mural was painted using the “Italian
Mosaic” technique and depicts the most pertinent historical
events of life in Nuevo Laredo.

Maclovio Herrera Arts and Crafts Market
Just 3 city blocks from International Bridge 1, here visitors will
find examples of the great variety of arts and crafts produced all
over Mexico.

Teatro de la Ciudad (City Theater)
Theatrical presentations
Location: Netzahualcoyotl St. and Lauro Aguirre St.
Parque Arqueológico Morelos (Morelos Archeological
Park)
A permanent exhibit of replicas of pre-Hispanic sculptures.
Expomex
The fair is only held in September of each year, with cattle and
livestock, agriculture, commerce, industry, arts and crafts and
cultural exhibits. The fairgrounds include a 7000-person capacity
arena, rides and free musical and artistic presentations.

The nursery and park extend over 2 hectares, where old and young
alike can enjoy the beauties of nature.
